TerraOceanus is at the Thelma Hulbert Gallery from 

17 June 2023 to 12 August 2023

This exhibition explores our relationship to rivers and seas, and to the edge lands around them. It has grown out of work with the Time and Tide Bell Project, supported by the UK Climate Resilience Programme and the Natural Environment Research Council (NERC). Artist Marcus Vergette’s bells, which are dotted around the British coast, celebrate the connections between land and sea, but also remind us of rising sea levels, flooding and coastal erosion.

 A new bell will be featured in this exhibition in addition to workshops, poetry readings, a performance of 'Tintinntabulation' and COTIDAL a film by artist Tania Kovats in August (a must see!). All photographs @Simon Tutty.
