BIO

I am Professor of Visual and Literary Arts at the University of Exeter. I combine creative practice with research, creative non-fiction, poetry and experimental forms of writing with photography and other visual media. 

My interests: bodies, environments, climate change, water, seas, coasts, ruins and ruination, rewilding and open roads, open spaces, blue things.
